6" Calathea Concinna

Calathea Concinna (AKA Freddie) is a narrow leaf calathea that provides compact bushy growth. This Calathea variety has a wonderful green striped leaf that comes to a fine line before it meets the border.  As an understory plant, Calathea thrive in moderate indirect light. Humidity is important for the Calathea Freddie to thrive, so we recommend misting this plant often or implementing a pebble tray for added humidity. Calathea will benefit from being fertilized monthly spring through summer. When fertilizing, we recommend diluting a general houseplant fertilizer by about half. Calathea can be propagated through root division. The leaves should be wiped down monthly with a damp cloth to keep all dust off and have the leaves looking nice and shiny.
